These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of eSIMstep.com, including our website, mobile services, eSIM plans, VPN services, calling features, customer support, and any related digital services provided by eSIMstep (“eSIMstep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, creating an account, purchasing a plan, installing an eSIM, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase or use our services.
By using eSIMstep, you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms and to use the payment method provided.
2. Our Services
eSIMstep provides digital travel connectivity services, which may include:
- Prepaid eSIM data plans
- Regional and global eSIM plans
- VPN access on eligible plans
- Calling minutes or calling features on selected plans
- Account-based order management and customer support
Our eSIM products are delivered digitally. After a successful purchase, you may receive a QR code, activation code, direct installation option, or other setup instructions.
Most eSIMstep travel eSIM plans are data-only unless the selected plan clearly states that calls, SMS, or calling minutes are included.
3. Device Compatibility
You are responsible for checking that your device supports eSIM technology, is unlocked, supports destination network bands where applicable, has a stable internet connection during installation, and is compatible with the selected plan.
We provide compatibility information to help customers, but we cannot guarantee that every device, operating system version, carrier lock status, or device configuration will work with every eSIM plan.
If you are unsure whether your device supports eSIM, please contact our support team before placing an order.
4. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate billing, contact, and account information, use a valid and authorized payment method, pay applicable charges, taxes, fees, and currency conversion costs, and review your selected plan before completing payment.
Prices may change at any time before purchase. The price shown at checkout is the price applicable to your order at the time of purchase.
We may refuse, cancel, or review any order if we suspect fraud, abuse, payment risk, unauthorized use, technical error, or violation of these Terms.
5. Digital Delivery
eSIM plans and related digital services are delivered electronically through email, your eSIMstep account, the eSIMstep app, or another digital delivery method.
Once the eSIM profile, QR code, activation code, or installation details have been delivered, the order may be considered fulfilled.
You are responsible for keeping your email address, account access, QR code, activation details, and device secure. eSIM activation details should not be shared with others.
6. Installation and Activation
You are responsible for following the installation and activation instructions provided after purchase.
Installation and activation may require a compatible unlocked device, stable WiFi, correct device settings, data roaming where required, selecting the correct eSIM line, and being within the covered destination or region when activation is required.
Some eSIMs may activate immediately after installation, while others may activate when they connect to a supported local network. Validity periods may begin at installation, activation, or first network connection depending on the selected plan.
7. Coverage and Service Availability
eSIMstep services rely on third-party mobile network operators, roaming partners, infrastructure providers, and technology partners.
Coverage, speed, signal strength, latency, 4G/5G availability, hotspot availability, and service quality may vary depending on location, local network conditions, device model, congestion, buildings, selected plan, carrier restrictions, and local laws.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or identical service in all locations. Network availability is outside our full control.
8. Fair Usage and Plan Limitations
Some plans may include fair usage policies, daily usage limits, speed reductions, throttling, hotspot restrictions, or other limitations.
If a plan includes “unlimited” data, it may still be subject to a fair usage policy unless explicitly stated otherwise.
You are responsible for reviewing plan details, data allowance, validity period, supported countries, network information, and restrictions before purchase.
9. VPN and Calling Features
Some eSIMstep plans may include VPN access, calling minutes, or other app-based benefits. These features may be subject to eligibility, availability, supported destinations, app compatibility, account status, usage limits, or technical restrictions.
Calling features, where offered, may not replace emergency calling services. eSIMstep does not guarantee access to emergency services through calling features.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree to use eSIMstep services only for lawful, personal, and permitted purposes.
You must not use the services for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity; resell or redistribute eSIMs without permission; interfere with networks or systems; attempt unauthorized access; violate laws or third-party rights; abuse promotions or refunds; or use automated systems to scrape or disrupt the website.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to services without refund if we believe these Terms have been violated.
11. Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. Because eSIM plans are digital products, refunds may be limited once an eSIM profile has been delivered, installed, activated, or used.
12. User Accounts
You may need an account to access certain features. You are responsible for keeping login details secure, maintaining accurate account information, preventing unauthorized access, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized activity.
13. Promotions, Discounts, and Credits
Promotions, discount codes, referral rewards, wallet credits, or store credits may be subject to additional terms. We may modify, suspend, or cancel promotions at any time if we suspect abuse, fraud, technical error, or misuse.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on eSIMstep.com, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, design, layout, trademarks, and service names, is owned by or licensed to eSIMstep and protected by intellectual property laws.
15. Third-Party Services
Our services may involve third-party providers, including mobile network operators, payment processors, infrastructure providers, app stores, analytics providers, support tools, and technology partners. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
16. Privacy
Your use of eSIMstep is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
17. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eSIMstep services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific network or speed, compatibility with restricted devices, or availability of VPN, calling, or app-based features in every location.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eSIMstep will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchased service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service.
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless eSIMstep, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers from claims or losses arising from your use or misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of rights, or fraudulent activity.
20. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, we detect fraud or payment risk, it is required by law or providers, or continuing service may create technical, legal, financial, or security risk.
21. Changes to Services
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our website, plans, prices, features, destinations, supported networks, VPN access, calling features, or services at any time.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of eSIMstep after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
