Digital Product Notice
eSIM plans are digital, non-physical products. Once an eSIM profile has been delivered, installed, or activated, it cannot be returned, exchanged, or reused.
Because of the digital nature of eSIM products, refunds are only available under the conditions described below.
Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund if one of the following situations applies:
1. eSIM Not Delivered
You did not receive your eSIM or installation details within the expected delivery time after a successful payment.
2. Technical Issue Caused by eSIMstep
You were unable to install or activate the eSIM due to a technical issue caused by eSIMstep or one of our service partners, and our support team was unable to resolve the problem.
3. Incorrect or Missing Compatibility Information
The purchased eSIM plan was not compatible with your device, and the compatibility limitation was not clearly stated on our website before purchase.
4. Wrong or Invalid eSIM Delivered
You received an incorrect, invalid, or unusable eSIM profile due to an error on our side.
Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Your device does not support eSIM and this information was already stated before purchase.
- Your device is locked by a carrier or network provider.
- The eSIM was installed incorrectly due to user error.
- The eSIM was deleted from the device after installation.
- Mobile data roaming or eSIM settings were not enabled correctly.
- The eSIM was already activated or used.
- You changed your mind after purchase.
- You purchased the wrong country, region, or plan by mistake.
- You no longer need the eSIM after purchase.
- You experienced poor coverage in a specific location where local network conditions are outside eSIMstep’s control.
- You used part of the data allowance or validity period.
- You failed to contact support within the required refund request period.
Important Compatibility Notice
Before purchasing, please make sure that:
- Your device supports eSIM.
- Your device is unlocked.
- Your destination country is covered by the selected plan.
- You have a stable WiFi connection during installation.
- You follow the installation instructions provided after purchase.
If you are unsure whether your device supports eSIM, please contact our support team before placing an order.
Refund Request Process
To request a refund, you must contact our support team within 48 hours of purchase.
Please include:
- Your order number
- The email address used for purchase
- A clear explanation of the issue
- Screenshots or error messages, if available
- Your device model
Our support team may ask you to complete troubleshooting steps before approving a refund.
Refund Processing Time
If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.
Approved refunds are usually processed within 5-10 business days. The exact time may vary depending on your bank, card provider, or payment service.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, eSIMstep may offer a partial refund, store credit, or replacement eSIM instead of a full refund, depending on the situation and whether the eSIM has been delivered, installed, activated, or partially used.
Replacement eSIM
If the issue can be resolved by issuing a replacement eSIM, eSIMstep may provide a replacement plan instead of a refund.
Chargebacks
If you have an issue with your order, please contact our support team first. We are happy to help investigate and resolve the problem.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account restrictions or suspension of future purchases.
