Your phone may show a carrier or profile name such as Orange France during installation. This is normal and does not mean you bought the wrong plan. Some eSIMs use international network profiles and local roaming partners. Your plan will work in the destination listed on your order once installed correctly and data roaming is enabled.
Calling is available through the eSIMstep app on iPhone and Android. The eSIM itself provides mobile data, while outbound calls are made inside the app over WiFi or mobile data.
This is useful when you need to call hotels, taxis, restaurants, airlines, or local businesses while traveling. Selected plans may include free calling minutes, and you can also buy calling credit inside your account.

eSIMstep is operated from New Westminster, BC, Canada. Customers can contact support for installation help, refund questions, and account issues before deleting an eSIM from their device.
Your high-speed data allowance is used first. Once it runs out, your connection is NOT cut off. Instead, your speed is reduced to 1 Mbps, which is sufficient for basic tasks like messaging and light browsing.
Daily unlimited plans can be extended before the eSIM expires. After the validity ends, the eSIM cannot be topped up and a new eSIM is required.
Your internet traffic is NOT routed through Hong Kong servers, which would otherwise cause higher latency and slower speeds.

You are assigned a US IP address regardless of your physical location.
