How does eSIMstep Calling work?
eSIMstep Calling uses the eSIMstep app and your WiFi or mobile data connection to place outbound calls. Paid calls use prepaid calling credit based on the destination rate.
Do I need a phone number to call?
No dedicated phone number is required for outbound calling. Open the app, dial the number, and the call is placed over your data connection.
Are paid calling packs minute based?
Paid calling packs are credit based. Your balance decreases according to the mobile or landline rate for the destination you call. Free promotional minutes may be shown separately when eligible.
Can I call mobile and landline numbers?
Yes, where supported. Mobile and landline prices can be different, so the rates table shows both prices separately for each destination.
Can I receive calls or SMS?
The current calling service is focused on outbound calls. Incoming calls and SMS are not included unless a future product or plan specifically states otherwise.
